Outing – Saturday, June 16th

I realize that everyone is busy at this time of year, but, our last outing is coming up on Outing .  We will be going to Purdon Conservation Area to photograph the “Showy Lady Slipper” orchids. According to staff, the “Lady slippers” should be at their peak that weekend!

We will meet at 7:00 a.m. at the Perth Road Public School parking lot. Perth Road P.S. is about 16-20 km north on Perth Road (Division Street).

Remember to dress according to the weather and to bring water, bug protection, snacks etc. as required.

Lunch for those who are interested and available would be in Balderson at the Cheese Factory Cafe at around 11:30 a.m.

Following that, we thought that we would stop in at KIWI Gardens to shoot their many perennial flowers. For those working in their own gardens, they also have plants for sale. This is also their Arts and Craft show weekend.

If there is time, the architecture in Perth is old and intriguing and architecture buffs may want to include that as part of their day.
