Summary of Our October 1st Meeting

Our meeting Monday evening started off with a bit of a hiccup as we found our room in Dupuis Hall was double booked! Ed was able to get in touch with Queens and we off to a new room across the street to start our meeting with speaker Raymond Vos of Gallery Raymond. Raymond shared his experiences in Kenya through photographs and how he started the Kenya Initiative, a program that helps children in Kenya improve their lives through education. A look at Our First Meeting of the Year

It was very nice to see old faces and new at our first meeting of the year! Once again a warm welcome to our guests. We handed out few awards that were missed at our end of the year awards banquet. Both Tanya and Clive received Vern Napier's awards, Tanya placing 1st and Clive placing 3rd. Tanya also received Digital Image of the Year for her image “Lived In”. We also heard from Peter Law, our speaker for the evening on the technique of Light Painting. A big thank you to Camera Kingston
