UPDATED Outing – Night Photography – Saturday, November 25

I just wanted to let people know that the weather has not (at this point) co-operated. We realize that it may not be ideal conditions for taking pictures, however, Ed and I are  “gluttons for punishment” and we are going out anyway. Should you want to join us to spite the rain or should the weather change, we will meet you at Kingston Mills at 6:00 p.m.

Kingston Mills, John F. Scott Road, and, if time, Kingston downtown Saturday, November 25, 2017
NB: If the weather is rainy, foggy or misty, this outing will be cancelled and a rain date determined for a later date. Please keep posted by referring to the website.
We are meeting at the Kingston Mills parking lot at 6:00 p.m.
Directions will be available there.

Carpooling is a wonderful way to get to know each other and to help those in need of transportation. As the last time we almost ran out of spaces, please use this or the next meeting to make these arrangements.
Wear appropriate clothing as it may be very cold and damp.

Personal Challenge (if interested)…
Find an interesting aspect of Tim Trentadue’s talk on “Introduction to Astrophotography” and pursue it with your camera
2) Photograph at night using different lighting ideas (i.e., use of moonlight, flash(light) or torchlight for light painting, explore techniques – 5 minute or less exposure times, low ISO etc., star trails, etc.)
Website New or Review Ideas
The website article, “How to Shoot Night Landscapes”, is a good article for review and new ideas!
